Intervention Areas

Physiotherapy essentially intervenes in human functionality, so it is based on study and intervention of the human body. Your physical body is a means of communication with all your experiences with the outside world. If something in your body does not work as you idealize, your experiences are inevitably shaken and not taken advantage of in its potential. Do you agree? If so, you now have two options: accept or change that situation. If you chose the second option, the clinical team and I can help you with this change process.

Localized fat, cellulite (fibro-edema-geloid), stretch marks, wrinkles, sagging, scarring or vulvovaginal sagging are the main concerns and insecurities for which we have the latest solutions. Of these solutions, several can be found in dermato-functional physiotherapy.

In dermato-functional physiotherapy, in addition to manual therapy (manual lymphatic drainage, modeling massage of connective tissue, release of scar adhesions and desensitization), we have a wide choice of cutting-edge equipment with non-invasive procedures (painless, no recovery or ambulatory time, no scarring and no anesthesia!).

The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) is located in the face, next to the ear, connecting the jawbone to the skull and being responsible for mandibular movements. Any condition that influences its functionality is called a TMJ Dysfunction.

The dysfunction is more common in females between 18 and 50 years of age. However, there are several factors that can lead to the appearance of TMJ, such as:

  • Muscle tension
  • Joint diseases
  • Bruxism
  • Change in occlusion

The most common symptoms in these cases are:

  • Headaches
  • Pain in the face and near the ear
  • Neck ache
  • Tinnitus
  • Clicking and blocking sensation when opening the mouth

The approach to this dysfunction, in order to achieve the best results, must be multidisciplinary.

The only FDA-authorized cryolipolysis procedure for definite “destruction” of localized fat with applications lasting 30-45 minutes.

Equipment with 30-minute protocols authorized by the FDA and CE to improve muscle tonifaction and build and, consequently, the appearance of the skin. NEO came updated with the protocol for the abdomen, in addition to HIFEM (muscle electrostimulation), radio frequency is added, so you can “burn” fat while defining your abdominals.

Great choice for those who want to rejuvenate their skin in a completely natural way (reduction of wrinkles, expression lines, flaccidity, enlarged pores, (…)); and, the vulvo-vaginal area, both at the level of flaccidity and to improve / prevent urinary incontinence (due to the muscular flaccidity of the bladder or pelvic floor).

State-of-the-art equipment with combined technology of radiofrequency and acoustic waves that yields better results and higher effectiveness in treating cases of cellulite.

Allows improvement of skin texture and reduction of the irregularities of the skin, including damages caused by sun, freckles, pigmentation and superficial vessels. It is an excellent complement to other aesthetic medicine interventions offered in the clinic.

Treatment for stretch marks, scars and cellulite with flaccidity as a complement to other procedures.
