Thigh sagging

Reduce sagging legs with a thigh lift or a non-surgical treatment

Thigh sagging is a problem that occurs when the skin and underlying tissues lose firmness and elasticity. The main causes for sagging thighs are associated with natural aging, significant weight loss, pregnancy, lack of exercise, hormonal changes, poor diet, among others.

Good nutrition, exercise and the help of aesthetic treatments can help you reduce sagging in the legs.

What are the treatments for thigh sagging?

Non-surgical treatments

Living Clinic offers a range of innovative and effective non-surgical treatments to help you regain firmness in your thighs, including:

Morpheus 8

Using fractional radiofrequency and microneedling, Morpheus8 stimulates collagen production and improves skin texture, providing a firmer appearance.

It is possible to notice some improvements a few weeks after treatment, but it is normal to continue to see progress up to 3 months later, as collagen stimulation is a process that takes time.

At Living Clinic we have developed our own anaesthetic so that the patient feels as little discomfort as possible during this treatment.

Recovery is very quick and not painful (2-3 days of swelling and redness).

The dots left by the needles are visible in the first few days but disappear completely after about 15 days.

Morpheus8 helps reduce sagging in the legs, but it is also often used to treat sagging in the belly or other parts of the body, such as the neck or face.

EMSculpt NEO

This technology combines radiofrequency and high-intensity electromagnetic waves to tone muscles and reduce localized fat.

In addition to helping to reduce sagging thighs, due to radiofrequency, it will contribute to a more sculpted, firm and toned appearance of the legs, due to electrostimulation.

EMTone

EMTone uses a combination of radiofrequency and shock waves to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture (including cellulite) and reduce sagging.

Depending on the case, treatment with EMTone can be combined with EMSculpt for more improved toning.

This non-invasive and painless treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes (depending on the area to be treated) with at least 6 sessions. However, a treatment plan tailored to your individual goals will be created.

After the first treatment the results begin to be visible, varying between patients and degrees of sagging.

Body radiofrequency (Plus)

Body radiofrequency is a body remodeling treatment that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, for firmer and more toned skin.

To reduce sagging legs with Radiofrequency Plus, we often recommend 5 sessions of 45 minutes, spaced 1 week apart. However, as with any other treatment, a personalized plan will be created.

BodyTite

BodyTite is an innovative treatment that allows body remodeling through RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) technology. It is a treatment carried out in a single session and is often combined with liposuction (in the operating room).

Collagen Biostimulators

Injectable substances that stimulate collagen production. Some of the most popular are Poly-L-lactic Acid (commercially known as Sculptra), Calcium Hydroxyapatite (commercially known as Radiesse) and Profhilo.

Surgery for sagging legs

In more severe cases of sagging, invasive treatments may be considered. These treatments involve cosmetic surgery performed by a qualified plastic surgeon. This is the case of Thigh Lifting (also known as cruroplasty), a procedure to reshape the thighs, removing excess skin and fat, resulting in a smoother and firmer contour.

A thigh lift is a surgery most often performed on patients who have lost significant weight. In these cases, the redundancy of skin that sometimes appears on the thighs is significant, with negative repercussions on day-to-day life and self-esteem.

The incision is generally made between the groin and the knee, and can be linear, “T” or “L” shaped. This is in the least visible area of the thigh, that is, on the inner side. In selected cases, it may be associated with liposuction.
