What is Liposuction?
Liposuction consists of the aspiration of areas of unwanted fat through small incisions. It is usually a procedure combined with abdominoplasty surgery.
With the objective of remodeling the body contour and improving the silhouette, this intervention is similar to the activity of a sculptor, having originated the term “liposculpture”, so widespread today.
In this procedure, the aspirated fat can be placed in deficient areas, such as the glutes (gluteoplasty).
In the postoperative period, it is essential to use a compressive belt and perform lymphatic drainage.
It is the most frequent plastic surgery and its demand continues to increase.
