In the gallery below you can see photos of the case in question from various perspectives and see how the abdominoplasty scar turned out.
The second clinical case (patient wearing a black bra) involves an abdominoplasty that was complemented with liposuction.
What does abdominoplasty consist of?
Abdominoplasty consists of excising excess skin and fat from the abdomen, along with repositioning the rectus abdominis muscles.
How does it work?
Over the years, fat often accumulates in the abdomen, accompanied by sagging and excess skin. In other cases, especially after significant weight loss or pregnancy, it is the excess skin that is most noticeable, as well as a bulging of the abdominal wall muscles, known as diastasis of the rectus.
Abdominoplasty is the procedure that removes this excess skin and fat, allowing for a marked improvement in body contour. In selected cases, it can be combined with liposuction of the abdomen, flanks or back. In this way, by removing this accumulated fat, an even better definition of the silhouette is achieved
