Results from a mastopexy with prostheses with 3 months of evolution.
This patient wanted an improvement in the shape of her breast and a slight increase in its volume. An inverted “T” mastopexy was performed, with the placement of a “teardrop” prosthesis in the subfascial plane. It was necessary to create a scar around the areola, a vertical one below the areola and another at the level of the breast crease. Although the quality of healing is very dependent on patient genetics, controlling stress is also a great help which explains this patient’s good healing progress in just 3 months.
