Dr. Maria Manuel Sampaio completed her Degree in Medicine at the University of Porto and her Specialty Internship in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Centro Materno Infantil do Norte.
Since 2015 she has been exclusively in the private sector working in the monitoring of women from adolescence to menopause, including pregnancy and childbirth.
She wrote the book Gravidez sem Medos e sem Mitos (Pregnancy without Myths or Fears) in 2021 with the intention of ending so many myths and fears that arise during pregnancy.
Another area of interest is vaginal rejuvenation. In order to improve the quality of life of women in menopause, postpartum and beyond, through techniques that aim to improve elasticity, tonicity and lubrication by activating collagen production.
She currently works at Hospital Lusíadas and collaborates at Living Clinic in the area of aesthetic, regenerative and functional Gynaecology.
In this area, she was founder and first President of the Portuguese Society of Regenerative and Functional Aesthetic Gynaecology (2018-2022).
