Dr. Filipa Almeida

Dr. Filipa Almeida is a dermatologist at Living Clinic, with expertise in clinical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology.
She completed her Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine at ICBAS — Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of Porto, between 2008 and 2014. She completed her Common Year Internship at Centro Hospitalar de São João in 2015, followed by her Specialty Training Internship in Dermatovenereology at Hospital de Braga between 2016 and 2020.
She further complemented her training with internships in Laser and Trichology at Hospital Ramón y Cajal, in Madrid, in 2020. Between 2021 and 2025, she worked as a Hospital Assistant in Dermatology at Hospital Pedro Hispano, in Matosinhos.
Her main areas of expertise include mole screening, cutaneous oncology and dermatologic surgery, trichology, acne, psoriasis and other inflammatory dermatoses, as well as pediatric dermatology.
Dr. Filipa Almeida also works in the field of aesthetic dermatology, using a range of techniques, including laser, radiofrequency and botulinum toxin, applied to treatments for rejuvenation, rosacea, onychomycosis and pigmentation disorders.
Throughout her career, she has presented multiple papers at national and international congresses and has published articles in national and international scientific journals in the field of Dermatology.
