How does it work?
Emsculpt NEO uses high-intensity electromagnetic waves (HIFEM+) to stimulate muscle contraction. During treatment, the device is placed over the area to be treated and sends electrical impulses to the muscles. These impulses stimulate muscle fibers, causing intense muscle contractions (supramaximal contractions). The muscles in the treated area are contracted at intensities that are not achievable during routine physical exercise. The result is the elimination of fat and an increase in muscle mass.
Additionally, Emsculpt NEO uses radiofrequency to heat and eliminate fat cells, which are then removed by the body.

- Penetration depth: in Emsculpt NEO the depth is much greater, meaning the results are much more effective;
- Muscle electrical stimulation is equivalent to light physical exercise, while Emsculpt can eliminate fat and generate muscle contractions at a rate that physical exercise cannot;
- It is not possible to achieve results similar to those that Emsculpt achieves with electrical muscle stimulation.
Does Emsculpt hurt?
Emsculpt doesn’t hurt. You will only feel a slight warming sensation. No type of anesthesia is even necessary.

Emsculpt contraindications
Although Emsculpt NEO is extremely safe and effective, there are some contraindications to the treatment.
It is not recommended for pregnant women, people with metal implants/prostheses in the body, people with heart problems, epilepsy or other medical conditions that may be aggravated by electromagnetic wave therapy.
Furthermore, treatment should not be carried out in areas with skin lesions, recent scars, tumors or other conditions that may be affected by electromagnetic waves.
