Risks of Non-Invasive Liposuction
Since it is a non-invasive treatment, the risks are low.
The most common effects to report are temporary alteration of sensitivity in the treated area and a whitish appearance caused by the cold, which usually disappear after a few days.
A very rare effect is hyperplasia, in which there is an increase in localized fat mass instead of its reduction. If there is evidence of this phenomenon, Allergan itself is informed and activates its insurance, which includes localized liposuction.
Contraindications of Non-Invasive Liposuction
Patients who have cold allergies, cryoglobulinemia, umbilical hernias, coagulation disorders, pregnant women, and lactating women are not suitable candidates for Coolsculpting.
How many sessions are required?
